What is the current max resolution you are getting?
Have you tried the list all modes in the display adapter settings?

Right click your desktop ---->>>>> Advanced display settings
>>>>> Display adapter properties
>>>> List all modes

Post a screenshot of it.

If you can't set anything above your max HD res then use this tool below to force a resolution and refresh rate of your choice.
Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)

Use the tool with caution, it can damage your monitor if you overdo it. Research the limits of your monitor before you set the resolutions and refresh rates.

I believe I followed instructions correctly, resulting in a Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor [Flem Mod] being created / installed.

I have a lot of ati / ati related files in the driver details pane, but I am still not getting seeing a way to access any of the higher
higher resolution options.

Modding the driver
  • Choose the 15.11.1 driver folder location from the top right Browse button.
  • Select option 1,2 and 3 only leaving option 4 unchecked in FLEM

  • Select the basic 7 files from the 10.2 package one by one, there is folder memory so once you select the right path the other files will be selected from the same folder as you choose them one by one.
Optional prerequisite but important for OpenGL functionality
Warning: Spoiler!

After selecting the files to be modded including the OpenGL tweaks in the spoiler above:
  • Click Customize Driver and let it do its thing until completion.
After you are done modding the driver:
  • Enable Test Mode by using these commands.

  • From an elevated command prompt (Run as Admin): Run the commands below, copy and paste them into the Command prompt you just opened.

    bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    Press ENTER

    bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON
    Press ENTER

  • Uninstall the currently installed driver completely with DDU Wagnardsoft.com in Safe mode for best results.
  • Restart your machine and disable driver signature enforcement.
  • This step is optional but recommended to make sure the driver doesn't get blocked.... Windows 10 64bit ^^
  • Open up device manager and install the driver manually from the there.
Steps for manual driver installation
  • Open Device Manager and right click Microsoft Basic Display Adapter or the current driver name displayed there.
  • Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
  • Then select "Let me Pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
  • Click "Have disk" and browse to the 15.11.1 Catalyst folder and in the drivers subfolder select the C0xxxxxxx.inf(for windows 10 64bit)
After the driver has installed...
  • Reboot..
  • Disable Driver Signature Enforcement on restart just to be sure that it is not blocked at first start.

  • Since your card is not fully supported the downside is that you will not have Catalyst Control Center available, but.... at least you will have a working driver and fixed OpenGL/OpenCL functionality.

    Happy Modding !!!

Great !! First off we will need to get the right driver files to MOD. Get the 15.11.1 Beta Catalyst driver and the legacy 10.2 from the link on the homepage of this site.

Could you specify which OS and platform you are using at the moment.
I will walk you through the steps after you get the drivers and I know which OS you have.

Seems like that particular card is not supported at the moment, but all hope is not lost.

Are you keen on modifying it manually?

Could you confirm and post your DEVID , you can easily find it by opening up FLEM and copying it from the GPU-DeviceID in the cocktail lounge tab.

First, what a wonderful idea / program to implement to try to preserve and extend the useful lifespan of venerable equipment!

I have an ancient but wonderfully capable machine with an integrated es1000 gpu, also sometimes referred to as a RN50. This thing performed well under windows 7 with an es1000 driver (out of the box), I believe; though I may have downloaded a vista or 2008 server driver from dell that worked.

However, I have had zero success in getting the card to recognize full 1920x1080 under windows ten.

Is there any chance that FLEM could help me-- I don't know enough about the various ATI chipsets to know which combination of drivers / alternatives to utilize to try to make an installable driver set. If I have to punt and go back to win7, I can do so, but I would prefer to stay current. This appears to be my last hope, I've tried snappy, and every es1000/rn50 driver I can lay hands on, and I get "not valid for this version of windows", or "not suitable for your hardware".

Thanks for any and all suggestions.
